Ioanna is a graduate of the Department of Environment at the University of the Aegean and holds a MSc in Biology from the University of Southern Denmark, majoring in animal biology. She holds a certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence from the Department of Environment, University of the Aegean. She served as an intern at a non-profit association focused on the conservation of sea turtles. She has worked as Student Assistant at the University of Southern Denmark, conducting research on matters of biodiversity conservation.
